Big News everybody, very excited and feeling blessed for what the future will bring. This is the official Press Release sent to every blues publication out there:
"Ori Naftaly, the fiery Israeli blues guitarist who now calls Memphis home, announces a major lineup shift, welcoming new lead singer Tierinii Jackson to his band. The Memphis born and bred powerhouse vocalist replaces Eleanor Tsaig, who has left to travel other musical avenues after contributing lead vocals on the first two Ori Naftaly albums. "I'm excited about this change, and what the future will bring" notes Ori. "I know our fans are going to be blown away by Tierinii! After about two months of looking for a new singer and co-writer, and scouring the blues scene, I ended up finding her in a Baptist church in Memphis. Tierinii is as much of a road veteran as I am, she's toured Europe with gospel groups, and her love for blues, soul and funk finally gets a chance to come to the forefront now that our paths have crossed. I can't wait to get in the studio with her and back out on the road. The best truly is yet to come y'all!"
Jackson will be making her official debut with Naftaly on Saturday, April 4th at the historic Lafyette's Music Room in Memphis, with shows scheduled across the US for the remainder of 2015 and beyond. The first single with Tierinii is scheduled to be recorded in April and will be released digitally in May, with a new full-length album due out in July-August." www.orinaftaly.com
